As there are many good agents out there, Tony did a wonderful job on selling my 1 million and some change dollars investment property. I met him as a referral and he agreed to sell the house for 4% total commission. He paid out full 3% for the agent bringing buyer and kept only 1% for himself. He told me it was more important to him to have a successful close than loose the deal over half a percent commission. He offered to do open houses every weekend until we were in contract. In a bad economy he was able to sell my house because he made the house available for viewing through open houses. Myself and my business partners refer Tony for friends and family for regular and short sale transactions. He is currently working on a short sale transaction for family members and one thing I liked was the fact that he does not use outside negotiators. He takes care of the file from beginning to end himself. I was asking him questions about the 1099 that lenders send you when you short sale, he told me about senate bill 458 that prohibits lender to pursue diciency judgement.
